Dinan mufflers and appalling service

there is no more noise inside then with the stock. you don't have it so how would you know to say it is louder inside?? its your loss not theres, i am sure there not to upset

what bad experiece did you have??

this personal experience or forum talk?? it isn't common actaully what is common is when a company has a sale they run out of stuff. for a company i would say there one of the best, when hundreds have come and gone over the last 20 years there still here so they must be doing everything wrong huh??

So every time I speak with Chris at Dinan I get a different story. Called this morning since he never returned my call on Friday. At that time I was told that they should ship that day (Friday) or early this week so they could get here before I leave. Well after speaking to him this morning I was told the earliest they would be ready is April 16 (due to the tips). How hard can it be to get exhaust piping ceramic coated, Dinan stamped on the tips, and then welded? So looks like I will be rolling with the stock mufflers down to Arizona. Now the question is do I even want to give my money to support a company that is unable to make a 3+ week deadline on a muffler and gives me a new story each time we speak?

When you call to change it, you'll likely be told your system was "just shipped".

I'm not going to share my experience with somebody who clearly has an agenda here, as even Chris at Dinan openly admitted to me there was more noise inside the cabin (duh!), but not intrusive at all. And ask any Dinan exhaust owner and will tell you exactly the same. Good day.

lmao agenda, i don't work for them i just have there muffler. you say ears bleeding then say you had a horrible experience, seems like your the one with an agenda not me. if your gonna say stuff like that at least explain so others know

I will make the call for you guys on the drone if I ever get the damn thing (since I had the Eisenmann Race and then the Gintani Sport). I pretty much can guarantee you there is no way Dinan will have it ready to go by April 16; I'm sure there will be some other excuse at that time on their part. At this point I think I will be lucky to get the mufflers by the end of the month, and I wouldn't be surprised if they deliver mufflers to other customers first since I have been on their case to get my set to me.

Well got a phone call from Chris at Dinan today saying they just got a set done and are sending it my way. He said that UPS is going to pick it up today so it should be here before I leave. Still waiting on a tracking number...will keep you posted!

Oh I almost forgot, even though it is on its way I will still get the stock pipes welded back on to the muffler in case something happens in transit. Better safe than sorry!

I get my car back from C&C Collision next week, and I get it back with the Dinan mufflers installed

Yes, please do Mr. Harris! The only thing I've heard paird w/the dinan mufflers is the dinan midpipe and the AA midpipe...would love to hear the Gintani & Fabspeed setups...

I received the Dinan mufflers last night and installed them. If you REALLY want to hear the Fabspeed and Dinan setup, I am free this afternoon if you want to drive out to Redmond. Otherwise I am leaving for AZ starting this evening.

wow, that was quick! (getting them installed). Now you don't have to worry about all the hassle of mounting the stock system and then taking it off and re-mounting the dinan stuff.

Wish I could make it out, but the schedule doesn't allow today...darn. I could tonight, but sounds like you are headed south.

Nice! Glad you got what you wanted even though it was a hassle. I can't wait to hear it in person when you get to AZ.
