$20,600 USD for an M3 with 40k miles? That just sounds downright fishy to me. I hope there isn't more to the story and the seller wasn't trying to just dump the car as fast as possible. He could've easily sold it for $29-31k USD (not sure what that equates to in CAD). I imagine it wasn't listed for very long at that price before you snatched it up!

They have some cars that are surprisingly cheap compared to the US tho....like some Infiniti models and even the 14/15 Camaro Z28s are not that expensive compared to the US (although those are US origin cars)

If you look back in this thread at folks who have posted about what they've paid for an M3 in Canada, it's pretty much universally higher. I don't think I've seen anyone pick up an M3 in Canada for less than and equivalent M3 in the US. Not saying it's impossible, after all this forum only represents <1% of buyers out there. But it still smells fishy to me with a price like that.

I remember reading that BMWCA had to adjust the price of the F10 M5's price in Canada (F10 M5 was a lot cheaper than E60 M5 in CAD after the price adjustment) to reflect the change in exchange rate, not sure if BMWCA raise the price again after the depreciation of the CAD tho. |

Theres really not much more to the story... So far had the car 3 weeks its been amazing drives like new!
**Canada is generally more expensive.** However I was hunting for the right car 24/7 for about a year. 20.6 usd or 27 cad regardless how you look at is is in fact an amazing deal! The guy was offered roughly the same as trade-in at bmw but he just decided to sell it to me. I told him Cash in hand 10 minute transaction-no headaches no loans no bs. |

Just wanna let everyone know that word from Dealers the E9x M3 is high in demand now. They emailed us asking us to trade our M3 in for "above" value LOL for something better like the m4... we told them we plan on keeping our 2011 E92 M3 competition and we have an M4 anyways!
They are willing to pay $44,000 for my 46K mile M3. Other E9x owners are getting calls from dealers as well. |
