E90... 6MT...M3...Aluminum Console?

... Is there such a thing?

I have scoured the threads here and done a bunch of googling, but can't seem to find any active vendors - or even a history of a vendor - that offers a center console in aluminum that would fit an E90 M3 with 6MT.

Does anyone know if such a thing exists?

BTW, I have read all about the carbon fiber consoles (IND doesn't seem to sell them anymore + I don't like them much anyway) and the possibility of a carbon leather lookalike "wrap" (don't want that either). The only center console I would consider - and I think it would look awesome - is a real aluminum one.

You mean the non M3 hex aluminum pattern? It's an option on other E9x cars. The 335is has it, but it's impossible to modify it to accompany the EDC tray as the 6MT boot section is too large.


Your best and cheapest bet would be to wrap it instead of custom build it. I've seen wraps in that pattern before.

I would be interested in that as well since I switched over to aluminum from carbon leather in my e92.

No specific pattern in mind, just would like a nice brushed aluminum center console similar to the real aluminum trim you can get.

I don't want to do a wrap, though. I'd only consider a real metal unit. Not sure one exists, though. Seems really strange no one - BMW or otherwise - has ever made one.
