That may be true but Bimmerpost is the original E9x online community and still the largest forum for that platform.
Even though it has since expanded to encompass all subsequent BMWs, this is still
the go-to spot for all things E9x related.
So while we (E9X'ers) are old news, but obsolete we are not
In the meantime, I'm coming up on 10 years next month since I first registered on here (seriously an old fart now).
And now to bring the thread back on track.
A little discussion on the all-important mirrors.
What's interesting is that the M3 GT4, by default, comes equipped with smaller aerodynamically designed mirrors that are reminiscent of the E36 M3 mirrors.
Whereas in the video, one can see the mirror installed is that derived from a standard pre-LCI E9x 3-series.
I'm unsure if this is something that could've been spec'd upon ordering or if this was a later replacement/modification.
In either case, just an observation I noticed and there is a thread on this for those who want to nerd out on the M3 GT4 mirrors.
