The Combox retrofit outside the US is already done -Combox Media. The US retrofit -Combox Telematics- is not ready 100% yet.
Any MY2009 with the latest CIC iDrive update supports the Combox. So it would be very easy for BMW to offer an OEM Combox retrofit to any new CIC iDrive but that looks like it won't happen. |
The Combox retrofits that you're referring to are from Patrys, yeah? Do you know if he would be able to offer a 6NR retrofit as well (I know you don't speak for him...)
