You are incorrect. It emulates the passenger occupancy sensor in "non occupied" mode. Therefore the passenger side front air bag will be disabled. I agree. This is a lame solution and also not enough for 09+ cars.

I'd prefer one that sets it to enabled or one with a switch that allows you to change from occupied to non occupied.
