So after a few months, I’ve got somewhat of an update.

I dropped the transmission and pulled the clutch and TTV flywheel out. Interestingly, the clutch looks good still and only wear looks to be some hot spotting on the flywheel.

I’ve swapped in a brand new OE ‘09+ clutch and flywheel and the car is now driving great.

So, it’s still a bit of a mystery as to what exactly is the culprit here. Hopefully other TTV flywheel owners don’t start to get clutch slipping like I did.

I’ve done about 400km on the new clutch and flywheel so far, so still taking it easy to make sure I break it in properly.
