On my drive home, same route, ac also off, with hotter weather 73-77F, the temps went a tiny bit passed 210. This was immediate heavy traffic from the freeway entrance (see photo) after a few miles freeway opened u and temps began to drop again and stabilize. I drove a little more aggressive, hard on throttle and rev matching downshifts to see if it would change but it did not. Since my oil cooler is now circulating oil, seems like the faster I go the better it cools.
Doing an autocross next Sunday, will have better findings then, too.
