You can absolutely put power down. Good tires and learn how to modulate the throttle. The kits mentioned above don't have the torque upfront so it'll drive like normal until 4k and then things get increasingly more exciting through redline.
If you just mash the gas, you're going to have wheel spin but this is the same for any high hp car.
