the S65 is a high revving race bred engine, yes its going to have more problems than some engines. The S55 is a newer,and a completely different engine. Maybe it wont have rod bearing problem, but maybe it will have other problems. OR maybe it will be a solid engine.

Either way I personally dont care a lot about problems like this. Because I have a warranty. If i decided to keep my E92 i would replace the rod bearings or sell the car. Its that simple.
