Good to know! I also keep my Street Performance pads in my stock rear brakes on the track. I've only run Street Perf and PFC 08s on the track so I can't compare my PFCs to any other race pads. I still run PSSes so tires are my limiting factor now, and at the moment I'm just trying to regain some of the braking smoothness I lost when I switched to race pads and had to retrain my foot. I just bought another set to have on standby, but given how little wear my existing set has shown, it'll probably be a while before I try anything else. But the SR33s now sound like the front runner for an alternative.

Interesting, everything else I've read about PFC08s is that they're relatively easy on rotors (compared to the 01s), somehow delivering the rare combination of longer pad life AND longer rotor life while still delivering solid bite, which is what attracted me despite their crazy price for ST60 calipers (though they at least seem to last quite a long time). I don't think I need a higher friction coefficient on my PSSes, and I have some retraining to do for race pads in general anyway. I've noticed some cracks on my StopTech 380 rotors, but just the regular surface stuff, nothing deep. Haven't looked at the piston seals yet. What do you mean they destroy the dust shield? Is it warped or something?
