Euro Delivery Meet Thread

Another forum member is picking up their car in Munich on May 16, I am picking up mine on May 19. Just wondering who else will be there at that time and if anyone is interested in meeting for a few photo and a beer or two? I think it would be cool to roll heavy in Munich and represent out forum while there

May 16th, and I can't wait. Only two and half months to go.

I ordered an E90 with Extended FR, but unsure as to AW of SSII. Will have to decide soon.

I know. It's a tough choice. The EAS car posted on here somewhere a year ago, with the high res photos really got me hooked on an SSII E90 with Extended FR. Sometimes I hate choices!

I think SSII might be the rarest non-Individual color for M3s. Maybe second only to JzB.

Picking mine up May 12, will be returning it to Munich for shipment on the 18th

March 18th 9am... sorry I'm alittle too early! I should have my baby back in the states after a PCD before you even go.

Picking up mine as well on Thursday May 12, at 8:30am.... IB e90 with Individual interior.

Doing my ED on May 14th @ 2:00!

Sounds like we may be able to pull this off, depending on itineraries. I know some sweet places in Bavaria for awesome photo ops! Hohen Werfen is the castle from Where Eagles Dare...that would be cool!

JzB? I would debate that. I've seen quite a few JzB's as inventory cars at dealers around my parts. I think LMB is up there with SSII; though I'll be helping knock LMB down a notch in rarity in a couple of weeks!

Agreed, but all are welcome in Munich.

We should all try to meet up- After all, it's been U guys and this forum that helped out big time when getting ready for my dream purchase. Euro Convoy!!

I'm heading out around noon from the welt center on the 12th unfortunately ... heading to Fussen, etc. I'll be there from 8:00-till 11'sh I think. There are a couple of guys from bimmerfest as well who will pick up other bmw's that morning, but hey, we may bump into each other if you get there around noon.

I may be doing that, but only if I can manage to get my 1200 miles in and get the car service before hand (and before the Motoman comments begin, while I don't disagree with him, I more concerned about BMW voiding my warranty in case something unrelated to piston rings, like the rod bearings, crap out). Likely, I'll be heading there on 22nd or 23rd, if it's open to the public on those days.

Question for you, bro... what is SSII? I tried finding that on the BMWUSA Build Your Own M3 section and didn't see that specific color... unless you mean the silverstone color (I didn't realize there were 2 versions of that color, lol).
