Well the cost is 3430 x 81% (we don't pay VAT) x 1.35 $/Euro = $3750 retail, hopefully we get some discount, but still costly.
Group buy?
I got the impression that BMW doesn't just blindly apply a 1.xx conversion rate for these things - according to what I've seen, the MSRP is roughly the same but expressed in $.

If that's the case, and taking out the 19% VAT, the MSRP would be around $2800. At under $3k MSRP and $2400-2500 street price, they are going to sell quite a few, it's ballpark for a quality M3 exhaust these days.

You and I seem to always be laughing at exhaust systems :D
Depends the power it can produce for a cat-back. If it sounds better than the Akra, then it might be an option...still a little too pricey

That's what she said!
Will this come with connecting pipes or do we need to cut the stock exhaust? Perhaps Tischer will have a good price on this at some point.
I would guess it is a bolt on.

For reference, the e92 Performance Exhaust (non-M) is a cut n clamp.

We'll see once this is released.

That blows. BMW should have a bolt-on replacement.
