When I was there, we did a braking exercise to experience how the anti-lock brakes work, then an auto-cross style course, then a skid pad exercise on wet pavement to experience how the DSC works. I really wish I could do the ED but don't have the time right now.

But this is only my first bimmer, so their will be time.Agreed, heard great things about PCD!! Unfortunately the Performance Center is closed from Oct 14th till Nov 1st so no deliveries during that time. And that is the estimated ETA for my car. As long as you are not looking at those dates, go for it!!
Space gray M3 wroteDouble check as I could be wrong but I read it on this forum and when discussing it with my CA he confirmed. BMW is using the center to introduce the the new X3. They will be bringing through CA's from across the country to drive the new X3 and get familiar with it. If you can confirm I am wrong, let me know as I'd love to do PCD as well!I sure hope this isn't true. I received an email from the PCD on 7/30 stating my delivery date of 10/22/2010.

Granted, it wasn't as fun as doing 360's on the skidpad, but still worth the hour or so it took to see the place.Everything was worth it at PCD except for the long drawn out factory tour... Skip that part, leave early and enjoy the car!

They are closing the center to walk in trade etc. due to our new Ride & Drive of the 2011 X-3 going on that Month."
So unless something else changes, we'll be heading to SC in October.
