Are you gonna put springs on?

The 15/18mm combo (Bulldog Stance) are my new favorite. Another MY09 just left with the same setup today.
Tom,

Is there any reason to think the 18F/15R MS + H&R sport on a 2008 M3 E90 won't fit? Have you installed this setup on 2008 E90 M3s with the OEM 19" wheels? (All the pics I have seen are E92s). Also, what should I expect to pay for the springs installed with an alignment? I will likely order the MS spacers from you since I don't believe anyone local here carries them. Thanks.

Matt,

While we've performed countless installs on e92s, we haven't had many e90s performing the upgrade. I don't see any reason why the same fitment would not work - but would like to see beforehand before making a recommendation.
I finally ordered my M3 and I've decided to go for RD springs and 15mm H&R spacers all around. I bet it's gonna' look awesome!!!

ordered H&R on saturday! should be here this week or next
I put MS 15mm on all 4 corners with stock 19's and the stance is MONEY! Glad I went with 15/15 instead of 15/12. Very Happy
can someone confirm that 15mm all around doesn't rub on a e90 with 19's even with people in the rear going over bumps?
thank you
I went with H&R and just had them installed the other day. I am really happy with the look and how the car drives. I would say it wasn't a big drop, maybe an inch but now I have to add spacers because the wheels don't look like. I'll get that done in a week. I also added the Vorsteiner front lip and have to really watch it on the dips and bumps. The profile of the car is much improved.

I'm happy 15mm all around worked out perfectly for you! Your positive experience has just given me extra confidence on going 15mm all around with springs. Thanks!

I've been told that 15mm does not rub even with extremely hard driving.....But I would always be careful on speed bumps, especially if your car is loaded with passengers and luggage. All the best! :D
Nice, I think the set up I'm going with on my E92 M3 is with 10mm F/R and H&R springs. If 15mm rubs then I'll go with 10mm as I just don't want any rubbing or have to deal with it. From one of the last pics of tha e90 with 15mm spaces. The rear tire is slightly out a bit so 10mm should keep it flush with the fender and avoid any rubbing. Any thoughts out there?

Oh, I mean yes it looks real good. I'm thinking that with 15mm, the tire is just out about 5mm it looks like from the rear shot that in order to just not worry about any contact rubbing that 10mm would do the trick. But it does look real good with 15mm.
I did H&R last week and I really like how the car looks, it lowered about an inch but now I have to do spacers because the wheels don't look right. Since I have the Vorsteiner front lip I really have to watch it on the dips but its worth it with the look. I am afraid of having the wheels too far out to get chips

I recently asked the gentleman who owns the vehicle in the fist set of pics if the tires rub or if they cause any trouble for him......He told me that he had only one time where he had rubbing and that was when he had 4 people in the car and there was also a lot of luggage in the trunk, and even then it only rubbed that one time only when he went fast over a bump. He also told me that no matter how hard or fast I drive my M3, I will not have any issue on rubbing. From all my research, I feel that it will work out just fine.

Dropping the car with springs looks great. Dropping the car with springs AND spacers will look even better. I think everyone who lowers their car has to be much more careful on bumps and dips. But you're right, it's definitely worth it!
Did 15 all around on stock 18"s looks really good. No issues what so ever.....Steve
Umm I cant wait to order my AW E90 so the 15mm spacers and H&R springs can go on....
^^I give you a ton of credit for waiting to order the 2010 MY. I was planning on waiting, but I didn't have the patience to wait. The 2010 is suppose to come to dealers late in October or early in November. My '09 is hopefully gonna' make it in mid July or early August. I hope my lack of patience doesn't make me regret not waiting for the 2010... :)
Tom -
Would your recommendation of 15/12 spacers be the same for an E90 with 19" OEM wheels?
Thanks
