Absolutely not, the 30mm additional track width actually will aid slightly in handling.

WHEW!!! Thank you Tom for all of your very helpful info and thank you everybody. So it's decided that I will most likely go with RD springs and 15mm H&R spacers all around.

I've heard great things about the MS spacers...But now I'm on the fence between the RD Sport springs and the H&R sport springs. I'm slowly but surely starting to head for both H&R springs and spacers since they are both from one company. I've heard most M3 owners choose H&R's since they have the "tried and proven formula". It's very likely that I'll get the H&R Sport springs with the H&R 15mm spacers all around. Looks like I'm finally making up my mind. Thank you for all of your AWESOME help Tom!

Nawaaz, I'm on 12MM H&R spacers all around and H&R springs. I had the spacers on before the springs and it looked good but the springs just made it look that much better. My handling feels the same with no ill effects of the spacers and springs. I haven't even gotten an alignment after installing the springs but the car feels great and the springs actually got rid of my steering vibration at 80MPH which i'm very happy about.

I think 15 mm is a little much. Those cars definitely look sick though!

I PM'd John@BMW (owner of m3 in the first pic posted), and he said he had hardly any issues with the 15mm all around and with the lowering springs. I think the standard 18 inch wheels are little more friendly when spacing compared to the upgraded 19 inch wheels though...

Why do you think that the wheel spacing is a little more friendly to 18" vs 19" wheels?

Also i was on the same boat with you when i was deciding about springs. However, i think i've decided to go with RD sports because they are a little bit lower than the H&Rs. I've heard from a few M owners that they regret getting the H&R because it was not low enuff for them.

I think im going with 15mm spacer all the way around. The 15/12 looks great but i think the rear should come out a bit more. Just me though

I am looking at springs and spacers for my E90 M3 with 19s as well. Which H&R springs are people using? Which RD springs are people using?

I've got MS 18F/15R and it looks SICK . You'll be very happy with that set-up if you're looking for a muscular bulldog type stance.

I've just got dinan springs installed and had MS spacers 15/10mm prior to that. The MS Spacers are top notch and excellent quality and even come with the proper lugnuts. Easy install and no vibration. Tom is an excellent salesperson as he took care of issues and helped me with my spacers. With the spring install and alignment, the car has improved performance. The alignment from the factory was off and the spacers intially exacerbated that. Now the car
Looks aggresive and performs well.

Please post pics when you get it installed

The 15/18mm combo (Bulldog Stance) are my new favorite. Another MY09 just left with the same setup today.

I'm in the process of installing 15mm MS all around and I think it looks great, especially after seeing JohnBMW's ride. BTW, if you are considering RD springs over H&R, be prepared to shell out $$$

Good question! I guess smaller wheels give less chance of rubbing, or perhaps allow more room to space out I guess....?....I'm no genius, I know...So please correct me if I'm incorrect. And I've also heard that the RD's drop the front .2" lower at the front only, when you compare to the H&R's. At the end, 15mm all around is what I'll be getting also.

Most M3 owners are using the H&R Sport springs. H&R also has a Sport Plus, or also known as the "Race" version, but I've heard that the Race version is too stiff for the stock shocks on the M3. And I believe RD only has the "RD Sport" version. Again, please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

Thanks, I'll pay closer attention to the MS spacers since I'm hearing more and more good things about them.

I hope I get the same results as you....Except for the alignment issues.

I'm sorry man, please don't laugh....But I haven't ordered my E90 M3 yet. Truth is that I'm waiting to order the 2010 MY. I'll place my order soon after the official ordering starts. I've planned all my mods out very carefully. I just can't explain to you in words on how hard it is to wait for the new model, but I think it'll be worth it. I've heard that ordering may start sometime in June or July. The '09 model has been in market for a while, and its time may be up shortly....So therefore I prefer to wait and order the 2010 version.

Actually, I was going for the H&R pkg before, but I've changed my mind and I'm now going with the RD's for sure. The extra .2" may just be worth the couple hundred dollars more, especially after seeing John@BMW's car. His car is perhaps the best looking M3 Sedan I've seen yet....And yes, I think it's better looking than IND's "Red Death" E90 M3. Sometimes, a whole lot of upgrades and more changes doesn't mean you're going to get a better looking vehicle. And I feel John's M3 has that key balance between style and simplicity....And that's exactly what I want.

The guy who owns that specific M3 mentioned something about "laminx." It's supposedly some sort of film or tint. He also said that if you get tired of it, you can just peel it off. I also think it's cool, but I may just leave it clear on my M3.

^The standard wheels plus the spacers and springs play to my favor since I can't go spending all-out on aftermarket wheels and stuff like that.

What are the best spacers to go with on the E92 coupe? Did we decide what is better between R and D and H and R springs?

^they're both about the same except the RD's lower the car .2" more at the front end, that's all.
