quick question about interior main dome light housing!!!

How do u take the plastic housing off. Ive been doing what the instructions on the led set tells me to do but it wont budge, and i dont wanna pull harder with the screw driver because i dont wanna brake anything. U guys have any clue on how to take this off? Both front and back i suppose should b the same. TIA

oh wait ... you need to get to the bulbs. Haha sorry ... but maybe it's easier with the housing off the roof?

Ok a little update. Ran into the problem where the dome and map lights shut off after 10 seconds of ignotion being on. What do i do now? And the other problem i ran into was/is i actually broke the metal slot where the light bulb goes into in the maplight (the little metal piece where the led needs to attach to). I was pushing trying to get the led in, i guess i pushed a bit hard and the piece broke off. Im guessing its up there somewhere, i couldnt find it. ANyone have any suggestions on what i should do? Should I leave it, can it be fixed? or do i have to buy the whole piece from the dealer? And what should i do about the lights not staying on?

BTW, i was trying to take the whole dome piece out but it couldnt come off, no matter how hard i tried and i deff didnt wanna brake that as well. How can i take that whole piece off?

A number of others have reported the same problem with the lights shutting off after they install the LEDs. My guess is that you'll either have to switch them out for a bright white traditional bulb or solder in a resistor.

Any clue on how to solder the resistor? is this something that can be done as a DIY or not?

And to take off the whole dome piece, is it just a matter of pulling hard enough? finding the right clips? I dont get it, tried everything.
