Agree. They completely sterilized the back end. It looks like a grocery getter in the back.

The front end you can get used to.. but those tail lights are a joke.

Just wait until the interior. I doubt I will ever get used to the interior with the panoramic screen going across the whole dash. Not only does it require you to sit higher to look at the hood (according to reviews), it's just ugly imo.

For once...I don't hate it initially. In fact I kind of like it.

Can't wait to see the M350 and M3.

This. I never got that feeling about the current gen and grew to become okay with it over time.

This I actually like what I’m seeing before in the flesh so I’m likely to feel some excitement for the M3.

I've made also some pictures yesterday at BMW Welt and also at the BMW service plant.

Man i think it looks cool but it needs like twice as many motors and about a thousand horsepower

It looks really good in silver with those clear tail and side marker lamps. Real ‘stubby’ design in today’s car sizes.

Looks ok, but very bland and generic. I don't know why anyone would get excited over this.

Welp, the spoiler doesn’t help. I think it’s the taillights that aren’t working for me.

Glad I bought a M3 G80 base

I love these proportions, it just needs a serious drop.
First mod has to be suspension.

Far more attractive than a Tesla Model 3!

I like pretty much everything except for this hoodline that is 3 inches in the middle, and 6 inches on the side. . . It just wrecks my eyes everytime i look at it.

It's not because of the battery, even the ICE BMW are now very high beltline and tall. I think it's for crash testing and EU pedestrian impact laws. Tesla Model 3 looks very low profile in comparison to the new 5er.

What is that thing called in Japan where tuners purposely make the cars look really bad on purpose like as a joke or to see how far they can push the envelope of bad taste? There’s some name for it, like a contest or something.

Anyway this looks way worse than any of that stuff. It’s trying to be like a Japanese weirdo car. And it can’t even do that right.
