This morning there was a Melbourne red e92 M3 passing through Highlands. We waived and traded revs but I was on my way to an appointment. Otherwise, I would have turned around and caught up for some roadside dialog. If you are out there bro, drop a note. I would love to host an M3 gathering in the mountains. I know the hidden back roads and the best restaurants. And I'm buying.
Maybe DrFerry's user avatarDrFerry and spazzyfry123's user avatarspazzyfry123 can join the fun.

Well this is synchronicity at its finest! I have been thinking for over a week about driving up to Highlands to escape the Greenville furnace. Honestly I even thought, "I should send Three Pedal Steve a PM and let him know". It wasn't me in the Melbourne Red E92 M3 today, but now the universe has sent a confirmation. Thank you. I'll send you a PM.

Thanks Three Pedal Steve's user avatarThree Pedal Steve for a great day. Getting away from the Greenville furnace and into the cool of the mountains was a treat. The roads are amazing around Highlands NC, with great views as a bonus. Who needs the Tail-of-The-Dragon when there are similar roads much closer to home? Here's a couple more pics.

Sorry I missed out guys! I've been a bit absent here on the forums over the last several months. It looks like you guys had an absolute blast!

As fate would have it, I am unexpectedly selling my Le Mans Blue E90. I won't clog this thread with the details, but at least it is going to a good friend. Three Pedal Steve's user avatarThree Pedal Steve met him at last year's Highlands Motoring Festival as my passenger.

I am already looking for its replacement with another S65 high on the list...
