///M Driven is hosting an outdoor karting meet at the K1 outdoor track in Winchester (near Menifee). We're planning on doing a caravan out there, get some karting sessions in, and then grabbing food afterwards. On the way back, we'll hit Ortega and make our back to the OC.

Pricing: They have a good discount where if you buy 3 races, its $105 ($35/race), vs $40 for 1 race. We're planning on doing that to maximize track time.

Our plan is to get there around 9:30 and spend a couple hours karting - we should be leaving there around 11:30-12PM to head back. Please feel free to join us on the drive back - I'm actually anticipating a few more people that want to tag along for the canyon run back to OC.

Yup maybe...I'll see how it goes w/schedules.

Coupla Observations:

• K1-Circuit - Well maintained/equiped, top notch, comprehensive, and overall well sorted facility
• Summer 'Heat' - Be aware, expect late Jun will likely be a 'heat-fest'; damn toasty/ high ambient temps then factor required race apparel/helmet ...my premature 06 Jun visit, temps were ~77F - - good-to-go for a day of karting.

Regardless, a great venue for not only for karting...also nice, ample facilities for 'meets', food, libations, etc.
