😂 that’s pretty good, I might use it!
Looks great with the Bulldog Front, reverse stagger!

What does it take to do the rear arches? I thought I read the rear quarters are unobtanium, anything aftermarket available?

There’s a new company in the UK that’s making them now. I should have them hopefully in a month.

Just hit 2000 miles on the engine, and did another oil change. There’s still a little bit of metal shaving in the filter, but a lot better than the last time. Looks like I should be good on my next oil change hopefully.

I'm so glad it has all worked out after the E92 M3 canyon run wreck tragedy. Your hard work and dedication has paid off. The 1M-28i definitely looks the part. Great job.

Thanks appreciate it, hoping to have the conversion done by the end of summer.
Love it!

On a broader note, I just love that there are still gents out there that are hot rodding/doing custom builds in their garages with modern (ish) cars, just for the love of it (a hobby that was much easier with computer-free cars). Feel like with new cars all the custom stuff is sponsored SEMA builds.

Keep up the good work brother!!

Made some progress over the weekend!
Hell yeah!!!
I’m happy to report, I had the car on the Dyno and it didn’t blow up 😂. Did 4 runs and it went really well. Didn’t know what to expect but it made a lot of torque. Tuned hopefully soon, leaning towards HTE Dyno tune.

I was a bit disappointed with the hp number but didn't realize you were on stock tune at first. Will be interesting to see where you get with a tune on 93 with similar conditions.

The torque delta is wild and on stock tune no less. Like you said in the video, you can feel it. That really makes a case for a relatively safe/easy displacement increase vs a stroker 4.4/4.6.

It must feel great in the lighter chassis too, what is the weight of the car?

What are your plans for the rear end?

Love this thread and can't wait to see how far you take this!

Me too, I expect more power as well. I am just waiting on the parts to do the rear end hopefully soon because the 8.5 is too small. I plan on weighing it soon.

Combined Tune and free flowing exhaust certainly will provide a healthy 'boost' in performance and feel [HP/TQ]

Gotcha, didn't realize you were running the stock 128i rear end still. Is that 3.23:1 ratio? If so the stock 3.85 on the M3 rear is going to feel like a huge improvement! I'm so curious to hear what the weight is.

I’m running the E92 rear end but I can’t fit a bigger wheel or tire due to the narrow body.
Nice drive today, can’t wait to get some proper tires and suspension on this thing.
