what is the safest and max tire size for e92 m3? the 335i safe is 235/265 setup and max of 245/275 (some even got 285) but these are just in general.

also anyone know the oem 19" rim size as im trying to figure out if the oem zcp will fit on these possibly? thanks guys.

OEM ZCP Rims:
8x19 ET47 Front
9.5x19 ET27 Rear

thanks, so i take it you can't use oem zcp front without putting a big ass spacer on there but rear is ok.

on the link it says the tires for 19" are 245/265. what is the max and safe tire size for upgrading? 255/275?

It has been discussed but not answered definitively. I know you can get a 305 on the rear but I am not sure that is the absolute maximum. Fronts I have no idea about the max. PLEASE, EVERYONE when talking about what does and does not fit include rim width and offset information, both are relevant.

That post is really old and certainly does not address maximums.

More information

I'm sure the OP will be safe with 255/35-19 and 275/30-19 tires on factory wheels. 275/35-19 will probably be ok in the rear, but I won't commit to that.
i am thinking 285/35/19 to give a little more rubber.....?

That tire is really tall. Do you mean 285/30-19?
it really blows you can't use the oem zcp front when the rears work. i was just about to post that too. i saw a guy running 305 rear with 20" rims i believe. i know the car is still fairly new but i am curious...

You can use them. You just need 20mm spacers and proper wheel bolts. This is not that big a deal.

i know you can use them with the spacers as mentioned above but after much research using a big spacer in front is not really safe to me nor is having any spacer on the front end. but hey that's just me.

A good 20mm spacer from H&R or Rogue or UUC is brutally strong. They have hub extenders that properly center and support the wheel. The hub extenders are well supported due to the thickness of a 20mm spacer.

What makes you think it's not a good idea?
I've got 315/30/19 R6's on the rears of my E90. Just some minor fender massaging to get it to work :)

This is not a daily set up though.
Why asked the question?

We all know that the bigger the rim and tyre size the lower the profile and thus the ride quality reduces by the kind of difference that leads me to think that posing is the only requirement and overall performance and balance have no bearing or importance. If so then surely by a 318ci, debadge it and do what the hack you want to it would be the wisest thing.

OFFSET??

PICS??

Cheers.
there's no such thing as max
I use 265/30/19 up font and 285/30/19 rears. 305's will fit, you just need 10.5" Wide rims.....
Just wondering if this is toooo aggressive...

Front-19x9.5 +12
Rear-19x10.5 +12
