Interior Door Pull Replacement

Does anybody have any experience with the following aftermarket kit from ECS Tuning to replace the interior door pulls on an E90 M3? Mine are starting to get sticky. It appears that I will just need the interior piece (black plastic) and reuse the cover that is the same leather as my interior. The door panels will need to come off and replacement of any fasteners/clips might be needed to get the job done.

I decided to go with genuine BMW parts and placed the order today from my local dealership as per below. I'm in this "preserve, but enjoy" phase of my M3. I will reuse the leather trim pieces. Both of the "Support, pull, strap, right" parts are coming from Germany, so it will take 2-4 weeks to arrive. It will be rinse and repeat three times to get the job done!

I decided to try the driver's side rear door and everything went well and as planned except I had the wrong part for the "support, pull strap, left". It is a bit of a mystery as my local BMW dealership told me that 51-41-7-230-849 would fit as it superseded the original part, but when it was time to snap in the leather trim piece back in, it became obvious that the part is not the correct one. I believe the part that I installed is for the E90 LCI cars except for the M3. After further research and thinking about all the part numbers involved, the sequential numbers stood out to me. I ended up looking up 51-41-8-045-265 on Real OEM as that precedes 51-41-8-045-266 (right side) from a numerical perspective, similar to how the leather trim pieces are in numerical order from left side to right side (51-41-7-898-929 and 51-41-7-898-930). To my surprise, 51-41-8-045-265 appears to be the part that I actually need. However, it is strange because the BMW dealership told me that 51-41-8-045-265 is not for my car even after VIN validation and is only specified for Right Hand Drive (RHD) cars. I went back to Real OEM again and sure enough, you can only see 51-41-8-045-265 if you specify a RHD build. I then did a search on the internet to try and find who has 51-41-8-045-265 and it appears to be discontinued and No Longer Available (NLA). This is the updated parts list:

My internet search resulted in finding 51-41-8-045-265 in countries that are RHD. This part is very difficult to find, but I was able to source one from Singapore and should have it this week. Stores in UK and Ireland did not have the part. I will update the thread again as I continue through this journey of no more sticky icky.

On another note, my wife thinks I'm crazy for all this effort, but she understands the reasons for what/why I am doing.

Great news! I received the correct part from a parts store I found in Singapore (ENG SOON AUTO PTE LTD). 51-41-8-045-265 is the right part for the left rear door. The leather piece will snap into it once I complete the installation in the door panel.

The pics will show the differences between 51-41-7-230-849 (incorrect part and modified to try and work) and 51-41-8-045-265. I just need to transfer the square clear clip receptacle.

The parts arrived early from Germany and I decided to take care of the doors on the passenger side tonight. 3/3 are done!
