Following up. My two Paragon front replacement rings are correct for the left and right. Current rings have 14 track days on them and seem to have some life left, so will keep running for now.

Just emailed Paragon about a rear kit. Curious what they say. Also curious what you think after your next track day. Have fun!

FWIW paragon responded first thing this morning and is sending me the correct ring asap.

I kept mine on, just trimmed them back with tin snips. Cut way easier than I expected.

I went and reunited my E92 with his long lost uncle Shark Nose.

Love the E24, and I think it is a great pairing. The M30 sounds delicious in such a different way than the S65. Best of both I6 and V8 IMHO.

Let the restoration begin on the E24. Good bones but needs a bit of love. And wheels. Needs BBS RS for sure.

Wow how small it is now comparing to the "small" E92 coupe. Absolutely stunning though!

saw this White/CF roof/219m at the Toyota dealership. Guy was probably trading it in for a Sienna. Lol wut a knob.

Unwrapping my frozen white today. Avery Santorini blue is coming off and I’m wrapping my frozen white car, gasp, frozen white haha. Avery satin white pear on the way.

Forgot how beautiful the Frozen White satin is.

Got some unexpected good news.

Went to get my tires balanced because I was noticing some vibration, and my tire guy found this thing in the tire. He was scared to remove it, as while it wasn't leaking, there's a good chance the tire would never hold air again.

Answer was likely a new set of tires, as presumably this could start leaking at any time.

Today I basically said screw it, if I have to replace the tires anyway, I'm just going to remove that thing and see what happens. Used a flat head screwdriver to pry it out... and this was a nothing burger. Not deep at all.

Went for a test drive afterwards, and vibration gone.

Glad it was a nothing-burger. Hope it doesn't happen again but if it ever does a Michelin Dealer can repair it with a mushroom type plug and patch from the inside of the tire to retain the load rating and speed rating providing the puncture is within the rolling tread-width area with a hole no larger than 0.25inches in diameter.

I think the worry from my tire guy was that there was likely two separate punctures right next to each other. Using those mushroom plugs in this scenario would have had them sitting on top of one another in the tire which isn't going to allow them to set properly.

Finished washing and swapping my summer Michelins on. I’m testing out Griots 3in1 Ceramic on the trunk/back bumper and hope to before I commit to a strip of wash and clay bar of the whole car. Yes I know they’re just reps but I’m concentrating on maintenance stuff first before I hunt down some HRE or Regas.

Finished complete front and rear suspension overhaul. Feels great so far. GAS monoballs, billstein b12 kit, SPL end links, Vorshlag camber plates, OE replacement control arms and bushings except thrust arms.

The amount of feel I have now is amazing. It is night and day different! Can’t wait to get it aligned and dial it in.

Just finished up an oil change, new spark plugs, and new Carbon Cool brake pads

Just wondering which shop did the work i.e. where you got the work done (in Greenville, SC) - or is that your garage?

Upgraded from a similar unit I got years ago that recently stopped working. Excellent sound quality with all steering controls working. I’m using an iPhone 16 Pro, running iOS 18.5, and using Apple Music.

I did this service myself. I usually go to Thunder Bunny Racing for all my needs, but I enjoy doing what work I can as well. This picture was taken at a storage facility in the area where my Dad stores his 911 and we have access to a lift.
