What an amazing car! Since you had the car in storage for so long, do you have another fun car that you’ve been messing with?

Update on the car.
I tried my best to track down my original set of Takata Green TEs. They were a rare set because the fronts had an ET of 15 vice the standard 20. That said, functionally, the 18x9.5 ET20s work much better. Well, I couldn't find them so I had IND color a match a set for me.
Next I needed the Varis wing which was technically no longer available in the original form. But, IND and Varis worked some magic and I ended up with something very close to the original wing I had. The only real difference with this version is that the winglets are a tad shorter. IND also drilled and painted a new trunk for me.
IND recommended a Karbonius street lip this time. What I like about the Karbonius lip is that it comes with a template for drilling the bumper, it wraps all the way around the bumper and sits flush with the wheel well, and it appears to be extremely robust.
This fiberglass template takes most of the guesswork out of drilling the bumper. I wouldn't say it is perfect but it's certainly easier than the toothpaste method I used with the M24 GT4 lip.
The Karbonius lip extends deeper under that car than my previous GT4 lip. It extends and sit flush with the cooling duct for the various heat exchangers. As a result the under panel trim panel screws are not accessible with the lip installed. So the trim panel needs to be installed wit the bumper and lip as a package. At least that was the best way that I came up with to do it.
With the wheels, lip, and wing on... the car was coming into focus.
The transformation would not be complete without the BMW Motorsport mirrors I had originally. I had sold my original set to a friend, so IND worked more magic and got me one last set. Unfortunately the CF molds for these must be getting the old. The CF was not suitable to leave exposed. So, we chose to paint them Cosmos black. The color matches my BMW Edition trim pieces and harks back to my E36 roots.

Have you got spare bumpers and trunks in green?

I swapped the Karbonius front lip for a Carbon Productions GT4, 3 piece front lip. The lower section is ABS and is adjustable while the upper piece and lower rear section are CF. The fitment is the best I have seen and is very clever.
I also finally have CF Motorsport mirrors back. The Cosmos painted Motorsport mirrors will probably go on my wall or something.
I will do a write up on the new lip as it is really the nicest lip I have seen and combines all the looks and benefits of the OE GT4 and GTS lips... in what I think is a more complete package.

The E36 is a very slow work in progress. Got lucky and found some new/old stock Style 24s for it and a mint LTW/GT wing (stored on top of the car lol).
