If anyone can, Max can, I presume both cars will be getting the RB 20 mk2 treatment.
I think that's very doubtful ,with that big $4.5Million crash hole in the RedBull budget cap.

#CrashedByCheco (!) :D

I don't see how they can close a 30sec. race gap with old rebuilt parts to fix the RB20 fundamental design flaw and balance issues.

But I do agree . If anyone can, MAX can do it again

It'll halve the bill if it's only for the 1 car, Checo may then have to suffer the bed that he made for himself.

Of course , It's just logic that a triple word champion like MAX gets priority as the 2024 WDC leader .

As for the WCC , that's for McLaren with 2 drivers who can score points and finish at the podium.
The Red Bull Team has just one driver . It's a pity situation (!)

I’m just breaking balls bud. All these guys are whiners when things don’t go their way. Especially the ones who normally win. They are the worst. Ham and Max. I just hope all the final races are competitive and somewhat close at the end. Definitely going to be a fight for the constructors. Which is a really good thing.

Charlie could be Max's saviour if he does another Monza.

Yeah . What Charlie has done at Monza was/is good for MAX ...:D

Let's hope he can do it again at Baku .

He's not very consistent and his lap 1 performance is terrible because he seems to have confidence issues when the racing gets tight. He also tends to make mistakes when he gets mad, you can tell he was pissed off that Oscar went 'round the outside at the beginning of Monza and the next half of his race was crap, mistakes all over. Things he can improve upon, and I think we will see the improvements throughout the rest of the year. It's a new pressure for him and I think he'll move past it.

Bad team calls have also crippled him in a few races.
I think we agree mostly here, you're just more articulate about it.

There won't be a fight for the 2024 constructors (WCC)

Next weekend at Baku the WCC is already for McLaren .

Shouldn't be rocket science for Fred to work that out :)

Fred the Ferrari Godfather.. :D
I don't think it's a specific goal for Verstappen to become an 8 time WDC champion. He just want's to win races. I believe he couldn't care less about all the other records he already broke, or breakes in the future, in that proces.

I also believe that he might quit F1 sooner than we think to try and win in other racing classes.

I think he wants his own race team that he can race with, or so I’ve heard. I’d like to see him on the WEC tour. And go for the triple crown.

The Max Factor that wasn’t.
Never was. The dude lost a 50nsecond advantage and hasn't won since.
Not entirely true. Verstappen is an exceptional driver (as long as he has a decent car that fits his style and regulations that favour his team). He very rarely make forced errors. He more often than not pushes the boundaries. The Max Factor still is a force to be reckoned with. It’s just that the other teams have cracked the formula.

I have to be honest and say I do like Max. He's a very good driver and I won't say otherwise. I just don't believe he's better than Lewis and AD21 Was robbery to give Max a trophy he rightfully didn't win.
Yeah, a good driver needs a good car. Lando is a good example of a "good driver" with the best car, and he can barely win. The idea that Max can take a midfield car to a consistent podium is a nonsense fantasy.
Adrian Newey's take on how he rates Max Verstappen and the 2021 season.
