I love this thread. I’m not seeing data about the e92 comp pack. Do we know how many LCI ZCP’s were built? A percentage would be fine too.

I think this data would go a long way to give us a ballpark idea of how many are out there in each color using the existing data on the first page of this thread. Assuming the color percentages hold up for ZCP also.

Thank you to whoever is doing all this research. I enjoy diving into the numbers. It also explains why finding my ideal spec car can prove difficult.

How many are out there?

This chart shows how many Competition Packs (ZCP) were made by Region for both the E92 and E90.

The Competition Pack was launched in March 2010 and therefore only available on LCI cars.

I've included two charts for each Type and Region below. The first shows the % of Competition Packs compared to ALL cars made, the other as a % of just LCI.

I don't (yet) have the Competition Pack colour breakdown, but perhaps one day in the future.

Thank you for this information. Taking this into account and following the percentages given on the first page around IB color and manual transmissions made during LCI should give me a ballpark idea.

Quick calculation reveals there should be around 75 examples of IB, ZCP that are manuals.

This isn’t scientific but gives an idea for potential buyers waiting on their perfect spec to appear. Needle meets haystack.

Yes I do, with North America first, starting with the E90s, hopefully next week.

European LHD stats are still a few months away.

For North America, 3 Interlagos Blue E90s were made in that spec, all for the US.

Hi friends, I'm happy to say that another one of our E9x cars is coming back into focus. One of my best friends of many years just won this one-owner, 20k mile example E93 over on BAT: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2013-bmw-m3-convertible-19/

He's not a registered user here yet and the car is being shipped to him now. Can anyone help me determine how rare the spec is? e9xm3.com shows nine produced in Frozen Black for all of North America, but it doesn't break down by year or any other options.
