Euro Power Motorsports - Throttle Actuators

Just wanted to put together a quick write up with my experiences with EuroPowerMotorsports. I unfortunately had my throttle actuators suddenly go out on me while driving, was able to confirm this when i got home and ran code. Code 2B16 was shown which meant I had TA failure in one of my banks. From this i began researching for replacement parts and came across EPM. I ordered the parts that same night of my failure which was a Friday and had them in my hands by Tuesday. I did the install myself and was able to get the new TA’s in and get my cores sent back as of yesterday. I have now been driving on these new TA’s for around a week now and have 0 issues. All codes are gone and the car runs fantastic. The guys at EPM are very genuine and honest. From getting my package out at a promised time, keeping me updated with anything on their side, and even touching base with me during install. If you come across TA failure and are looking for rebuild service don’t hesitate to touch base with these guys!

Majdi at Euro Power is great to deal with! He's helped with my throttle actuators when I needed them a few months back. Customer service is always on point. Would always recommend the guys at Euro Power Motorsports!

I have ordered exactly one month ago. They will not respond by email but will respond to text. Keep saying they will ship soon but feeling like a broken record. I would NOT recommend europower motorsport at the moment. This is my daily driver and it has sat for a month.

Please PM your order number. I’m so sorry about this but our lead time is crazy right now. Forgive me. Nobody is sending their cores back in time. I just posted on every group last night that I’m buying used units so we can reduce the lead time. I’ve purchased 25 units in less than 24 hours. So please forgive me. It has been over a week since you said this would be shipped with no reply to my emails and 5 weeks since ordering.

My friend, your order will go out tomorrow. We have been waiting eagerly for cores and used untis that we purchased and we finally received over 50 in the past few days. The train is finally moving and all back orders are being cleared up daily.

It had a limit and it got used. I just reset it. Thanks for pointing it out.

I FINALLY received the rebuilt throttle actuators at exactly 6 weeks from ordering and am excited to install tomorrow. I will keep you posted.

UPDATE: Installed this morning and went as planned except for the one broken actuator casing I received from Europower. They were well packaged and capped for extra protection and the box was in good shape so it must have been sent this way. Installed both actuators and the connector would not slide onto the cracked actuator so I had to remove it again and I noticed the cracked casing was not allowing for enough space on one side. After adjusting the casing I was able to get the connector on and reinstalled the actuator. I Just ran some errands and the car seems to be working well, so i am crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

bimmergixxer has the actuator held up with the cracked case?

Had a great recent experience with Euro Power Motorsports and Abdul. They shipped my TA's out quickly, well packaged, and delivered in just a few days. Got them swapped out and my car is back on the road again. Sent my cores back the very same day with the return label they provided. Mine were the original TA's (car is a 2012), started getting the usual TA codes a couple weeks ago.. upon removal of the old ones, one of them was definitely toast - did not move smoothly and felt like it was catching on something as it moved, the gear was shot.

Installation was easy, took about 2 hrs as it was my first time doing this job. I also did the spark plugs as well "while I was in there".

I'd highly recommend Euro Power Motorsports!

I had reached out to your company a week ago about starting a warranty claim for a failed actuator. I have had no communication from anyone in regards to a PayPal invoice as your site is not currently working.
Could you please get back to me so I can receive the part I need for my vehicle.

I might suggest calling. They were very responsive to phone calls last time I had to contact them.

Abdul I ordered from you 6 days ago and still no shipping notification. I've not had luck contacting you via email or phone as yet. Could you please shoot me a quick email or call to let me know what's going on? Also, your inbox is too full to send you PMs.

I was having the same problem with EPM at the exact same time, but happy to report my actuator was delivered today.

Purchased a set no problems so far!

+1 for EPM. I ordered an undertray, it was shipped literally the next day (iirc). I would purchased from EPM again.
