199k! impressive!

Hit 150k, had a track day at autobahn a few weeks before, car was running strong.

Sadly lost the original throttle body actuators just as I hit 150k.

Getting the TA's replaced along with the DMTL leak, also addressing a coolant leak and finally doing the OEM exhaust mod at 150k.

Time to ride her hard once she is back in my hands from the shop for another 150k!!

I have an X3mc it's a great SAV, but nothing comes close to replicating the feel of the e90 M3....maybe a 458/gt3 or the c8 z06.

Are you running stock brake lines? I'm debating if I should change my brake lines to SS for track use. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

I did SS brake lines. If it made a difference, I can't tell. No regrets, but that's mainly because I didn't want to be tracking on >120k mile old OE brake lines.

Yes running stock brake lines, braking performance was abysmal with liquimoly race brake fluid... will be trying another fluid for the next session, but will also keep replacing the brake lines in mind.

Throttle Actuators around 195000. i rebuilt one and bought a new one too. Tried rebuilding both but electronics on one were shot.

Rod bearings at 147000 by Lang Racing in Irvine, California.

Lots of Michelin tires.

Just 2 sets of tyres?
Btw, how long have you had the car? (time/mileage).

Lang seem like an exceptional company. You're lucky to have them nearby. Congratulations on the 220,000 miles. Well done. Great to know. It's inspirational. I am still on the original T.A.s - but if I ever need any new ones I plan to buy from BOOF-M3 's company affiliation. Lots of Michelins too.

Windshield $299 at 221000 miles. Cracked but more importantly the rubber is giving up.

My 2010 is almost to 130k.. supercharged. Been putting off rod bearings but my brothers 335i just had a RB fail so now I’m ready to burn some money on it

I think you'll be very glad you did once you get them out and take a good look at them… BE bearings with ARP bolts are the gold standard. Post some pics in the Rod Bearing thread once you get them removed and replaced. How long has the car been SC'd?

went on right around 100k, so close to 30k miles. I'm definitely easy on the car compared to friends who have m cars

Haven't seen a welcome or intro thread yet but 135km / 84k miles technically December 2007 car but registered 2008. Engine spun a bearing at 113k km and the engine was replaced at that time. Tried replacing the bearings at the time where it shouldn't have been attempted due to crank journal damage but the dice was rolled regardless.

Will eventually upload more pics but this is my one stolen from BMR performance google maps page where I left a review. Mine is the silverstone blue metallic on 359s. New flywheel, clutch, oil cooler and oil feed lines along with braided brake lines were fitted at the same time. Since there it's had new brake discs, pads, fuel injectors, bank 2 post cat o2 sensor and is current at the garage due to a fault with either the wiring or DME with said sensor. Looking at flashing the DME to 240/241e after I get it back and fully refreshing the suspension next. Really attracted to the sachs coilovers particularly with how they've improved the travel by being inverted and also combined coil on strut as opposed to separated on the rear.

Did the rod bearings right away (TrueAutomotive in Lawrenceville, GA)
Replaced the TA's at 62k when I had to pull the plenum to replace the tank vent solenoid
Recently replaced the 3 button module on the center console (EDC wiring was pinched and shorted)
Got in on the Mpower Vanos covers group buy and will have those done shortly.

I've been doing my own work all my life, but I've been having issues with my left hand/arm and recently was diagnosed with ALS, so I'll be farming out maintenance in the future.

Seeing all these posts with more miles than me (87K) is very comforting. I need to drive mine more and much harder

138k miles, went on a road trip from SoCal -> bend OR -> Spokane WA -> courd Alene ID -> whitefish Montana -> Salt Lake City -> back to Los Angeles
No problems, tpms would malfunction every now and then and might have to replace the air filter since the supercharger filter is low and exposed and full of bugs, but the car has still got it.
