There would have been a stack of papers in the back for the rod bearing job + all the other nonsense
fsi4n wrotePretty good price, how's the car mechanical speaking? Rod bearings? Throttle actuators?
SEFcollector wroteaccording the the previous owner, the previous-previous owner did the rod bearing. but have no receives for it. so I guess I'll check the bearings just to make sure.Pretty good price, how's the car mechanical speaking? Rod bearings? Throttle actuators?

How much would this M3 go for today?
I just bought a 2008 BMW E93 M3 6 Speed, paid $25K
56K Miles, 2-owner car, no accidents, single hump.
Second owner was meticulous, never driven in rain, stored in CC garage, etc.
The first owner was an older lady who owned it from new till 2014.
The option sheet is a little light (Premium Package, 19" wheels and tires, iPod adapter, Sparkling Graphite Metallic paint).
I had the car PPI'd, everything is in great shape, paint is in excellent condition, plenty of life left on tires and brakes. The interior and exterior are basically immaculate as far as a 17-year-old car, which is what I wanted.
No evidence of throttle actuators or rod bearings being done, so planning to do them, maybe not immediately, but I do have plans of adding an ESS G1, exhaust, and short shifter.
I think I got a fair deal for a very nice car.

Recently picked up a 2011 Mineral White Coupe with 32,930 miles, Dinan Intake, Midpipe, Axelback Exhaust and Tune, for $33k. The car did have an accidently reported on the Carfax, but the PPI inspector stated the car was in pristine condition. Spent a little more money on transport into CA and getting the car CA Smog legal, but couldn't be happier with the deal.
I picked up a super clean 1-owner 2011 BMW M3 Competition with 36k miles on it. Fully loaded back in Oct 2025 for the low 40s.
Missed this thread 4 years ago (2/12/22) when I bought mine:
2011.5 jerez/bamboo E90, slicktop, dct, 1 owner, full dealer service, garaged, 48k miles
for $34400 OTD (incl smog/tax)

Hi, new user here and figured I’d chime in.
In Canada
2008 E90, 6MT, Jerez Black on Black
59k km (36.6k miles)
Individual Audio, Sunroof, Double Hump, Lights Package, 220M Wheels, Comfort Access, No EDC
Bone stock, no mods
Original rod bearings (eep), original TAs
2 previous owners
Single small accident claim noted on Carfax, rear bumper apparently replaced and resprayed by 1st owner back in 2011
$48k CAD (35.2k USD)
I’m still not sure if I overpaid. I think the e9x is a very special car and will hold their values okay, especially the sedan 6MTs. So I jumped on it. What do you all think?

remike wrotePriced about right according to classic.com See all links and screenshots below. The E90 M3 sedan is becoming more rare everyday as many are converted to race cars, wrecked or taken off the road. I recommend getting the rod bearings replaced asap with B.E. bearings and ARP (B.E. version) rod bolts.Hi, new user here and figured I’d chime in.
