Best retrofit for M3 brakes?

Hi guys
So I was offered a F10 M5 brake kit to put on my E92.

Includes oem rotors (fronts are 400mm, rears I don't know)
Oem calipers
Oem brake pads

My wheels are 220m style.

Will I be able to put them in front and rear?

I've known about front conversion, needing a special bracket, but nothing about rear conversion.

I'm only asking, because my rotors are shot and a new zimermann 4 rotors kit are like 2000 dollars in Brazil, and the F10 kit was offered for 1450 dollars.

If you find stock rotors expensive, wait til you see the price of 400mm M5 rotors.

Perfect choice, it has the exact piston size you need and is within tolerance of the stock M3 or M4 disc thickness too.

Maybe the vendors got worried and did that. Some say Deep State stuff like this happens. You don’t need any proof to make a claim like that.

Here's what sweep we get with Alfa 6 pot Brembo, GT500 Yellow stuff pads and M4 rotors. Note the outside sweep is flush just was wiggly to hold it to take the picture.

Awaiting freakyparts brackets, been a month and still waiting.

Yeah, but I could turn back to the M3 kit when M5 rotors were done.

Anyway, I gave up on it, and bought the M3 zimmermann discs. It will be an eternity for it to arrive here in Brazil, though.


I figured out that my rear discs are M3 E46's. Only rears.

Now, has somebody heard about fitting the M3 E46 rear discs on the E92?

I'm asking because I'm afraid of needing to undo any adapting previous owner may have made.

Could be a solution for those wanting to gain some extra thermal capacity with larger calipers.

I have it all here ready to install. Just deciding whether to use the OEM F80 front rear discs I have or go all out on some 2 piece rotors.

Right?! I have to pick my spots. As much as every group buy looks amazing... Brakes are top priority for me right now. Waiting for next Epoustouflant post like a kid on Christmas (just don't tell my wallet!) lol

I'm actually really trying to figure out a financing option for these. Would make sense considering the discounts we can achieve.

Here's my full setup ready to install.

Front: Alfa Romeo Giulia Stelvio Quadrifoglio Brembo 6 Pot calipers, EBC Yellow pads D1666 (Part # DP43013R) Freaky parts brackets with 10mm shims, HEL braided lines and OEM F80 380mm rotors.

Rear: OEM F80 370mm rotors and OEM F80 rear calipers.

I need to build up the calipers after I was done refinishing (High temp paint) with nipples, hardline etc... Will likely black out the backside of the EBC pads, the yellow clashes with the red for my taste.

I would personally go for a burnt orange/gold flake/metallic yellow paint instead of red but damn that looks great:D

Choosing the color gave me sleepless nights lol.

Primer wasn't needed as the OEM finish was rubbed down with 400 grit/red scotch then straight to base which was RAL3020 followed by 2k lacquer. Ive done it this way in the past with great results

High temp paint I assume?

I'm looking to do front only(probably going to do it around late Spring early Summer) and go with StopTech ST40, while the saving isn't much compared to ST40 on sale, the ability to pick your own color and use FCP Euro for unlimited front rotor replacement is still nice.

In one of the pics you posted earlier, I saw the caliper was all dark gray, what was that dark gray caliper if not primer?
