romero1990 wroteDefinitely pulleys and belts if you haven't done that. I waited to do my pump when my thermostat went (100k miles).while I'm down there kinda question.

Cleaned some type of nest out of my engine. A surprise from the PO.

Changed front and rear pads plus rotors on Saturday. Went with Zimmerman rotors and Textar pads. Rear pads and rotors were toast, and one front disc was warped.
First time changing brakes ever, on any car. Only issue(s) faced was removing the allen screws holding the rotors in place, where the previous owner had reused partially damaged screws. Used a combination of heat, hammers and WD40. Two screws required a damage screw extractor.
Did some pad bedding on Saturday to remove the zinc coating, and took a nice long drive on Sunday. Everything working well, but I need to adjust the parking brake now.

kcdedric wroteTook it out for my second drive since installing the Eventuri carbon plenum and got some lazy sound clip footage with my phone sitting on the passenger seat. Staying off throttle is a real issue with this mod!
No pictures, but I swapped my wheels and tires, and now I feel there is less grip.
- I had 219M with Bridgestone RE760 in 265-35-18 and 295-35-18
- Replaced with Forgestar F14 with Michelin PSS in 255-35-19 and 275-35-19
The car breaks away sooner in sweeping turns. Is it down to tire width or older PSS?

o_g wroteIf the PSS' are old thats probably it. They are great while fresh but certainly loose out with time even if there is sufficient thread left.No pictures, but I swapped my wheels and tires, and now I feel there is less grip.

Received a pair of packages from ECS so I performed some really quick maintenance:
1.) Replaced the failed hood struts. I didn't have anything else handy so I had to use a roll of holiday wrapping paper to prop up the hood.
2.) A long overdue air filter replacement. Yikes it was dirty! Note to self, don't forget to replace next time!

SoCalRPM wroteCurious, so you went OEM from an aftermarket? might be wrong, but the dirty one appears to be an aftermarket filter.Received a pair of packages from ECS so I performed some really quick maintenance:

SoCalRPM wroteThats a BMC filter that was in your car. You can clean it and use the filter oil to reuse again.Received a pair of packages from ECS so I performed some really quick maintenance:

wfdeacon88 wroteThank you! Was wondering actually. Bought the OEM blindly before opening her up. First mistake. PO didn't tell me they put a BMC in. I kept it and will definitely clean it and put it back at some point.SoCalRPM wroteCurious, so you went OEM from an aftermarket? might be wrong, but the dirty one appears to be an aftermarket filter.Received a pair of packages from ECS so I performed some really quick maintenance:

Did this a few weeks ago, but added a Bimmerworld resonated x pipe! Paired with my Challenge mufflers

o_g wroteyou'll need to break the tires in. Tires come covered with some lubricants that wear off as you drive. Had the same issue with the PSS.No pictures, but I swapped my wheels and tires, and now I feel there is less grip.

Grabbed some clips of my current exhaust set up - need to take the time to stitch them together but here's a clip of a WOT run:
