We found a little visitor in the oil pan. Looks like over tightening of the drain plug had stretched out the last portion of the female threads in the pan and broke it free. The oil pickup screen did it's job blocking it out, but from the looks of the bearings, the screen didn't catch all of it. We can't stress enough to torque the drain plugs.
