Hi. Am going to do the F10 M5 shift knob swap...and am thinking of having a professional to do the F10 M5 leather boot attachment to the E9x boot ring.

Anyone have a good interior leather/upholstery shop that they can recommend for this? Should be an easy job. Am located in the SF Bay Area (prefer Peninsula or South bay) shops if possible. Thanks.

I've heard South Bay Autohaus on Rosecrans in Hawthorne does good work. I called recently about the OEM mod and they referred me to their guys R1 Motorsports in Van Nuys unfortunately...

Also, looking for a paint shop in the South Bay area. Sixteen Customs and Status Autoworks seem to be closed now.

Anyone with a recommendation?

Quick check on independents in West LA? My primary guy (GT International) just retired, and I have a SES (hoping ICV). I'm on Sawtelle and Santa Monica.

Check out Music N' Motion in Dublin. I work there but I do their vinyl wraps. They do a LOT of custom interior work

Haven't been there yet myself but American Tire on PCH in Hermosa said they'd price match - including the quote I got from Costco.

- Cooling system "service" and plastic drain ($297)
- Power steering "service" ($215)
- Alignment ($199)
- Nail in tire.. tbd, just don't want my rim damaged during replace

Honestly, if you never been down to MRF then I highly recommend you take advantage of these traffic free streets and make a day of it. Competitive pricing and top notch work. You won't be disappointed.

Just wanted to let San Diego and North County people know that SD Garage in Escondido now does touchless tire changes and road force balancing.

I had the worst vibrations in the front end and took it all over but all the shops were too lazy to reposition the tire on the wheel for optimal balance. Plus a couple of them scratched my wheel. SD Garage has the Corghi touchless machine and did the full Hunter Road Force optimization and now it is super smooth. Attention to detail was insane. They fully clean off the old weights and use color matched weights too.

Besides being a good shop for all other BMW maintenance, now I have my go-to for tire change and balancing. Inst: @sd.garage or call (858) 683-3070

his shop isn't fully opened yet but he's a certified master tech for bmw and has built some fast boiz in the last week. i can guarantee the work my self as well as 3 of my other friends have 650+whp N54/N55s done by him
