aah, the 'ol point by drag race.
Great few days at Cresson last weekend. EXCUS_M3's user avatarEXCUS_M3 greatly appreciate you taking me out and showing me the lines on Sunday - you can scoot that e36 around the track!. Bet you in your e90 is ludicrous. Also all the info & showing me where to tap in the solo - very helpful. dbyrd's user avatardbyrd wish I could have taken you up on the ride offer - definitely appreciate it. Would have been awesome to see what it is like with a skilled driver in a well sorted e92. Ran a session in red Monday afternoon and you blew past me. Was pretty awesome. adriang's user avataradriang good to meet you also. Don’t think I ever was able to see you on the track though - space grey e92 right?

Good to meet you as well. Yes, space grey e92. I was on the 1.7 course on Saturday.

That’s right forgot you said you were there with a member and not edge addicts. Hope it went well!

No problem! Cant wait to get the e90 back out there. The e36 is slow but fun in its own little way.
i couldn't really find any good black friday deals on anything i needed. got 8 oem spark plugs from fcp, an air filter for the wife's 335d, some diesel exhuast fluid, and an extra quart of oil to keep around. meh

I've always bought more after Christmas.
Black Friday deals are mostly meh.
nice lap at VIR Corrupt Commie, what tires are you on?
Real Stupid question for you guys with e46's that thinned out the wiring. I have the harness in my basement and ready to unwrap and thin. I have everything tagged. Plan on keeping headlights working and lcm in car (BMW club race rules for HP class require headlights. Plus it helps in rain races) anyway can I delete the headlight leveling sensors with out screwing up aim of headlights or is that not possible?
I unplugged mine. They seem to work fine

Thanks! First time there. Pirelli takeoff DH's, 285 square.
What is a decent front lip to work with brake ducts? Looks like maybe the GT4 style? Good brands to look at? Only for track use so don’t need anything real fancy (doesn’t have to be carbon fiber either).

I didnt have the Do88 coolers yet, so I picked up the DCT and oil cooler. That one was worth it.

What wheels did you run (width and offset) and did they rub in the rear?

18x10et25 arc-8's. The rear fender lip is cut, the takeoffs are as wide as a 275 nt-01 but are 25.5" vs 25" so it adds gearing. The front does rub the wheel liner but it sorts itself out.

dparm's user avatardparm, thats awesome man. you're living the dream! how did the transport workout?

i've had this fantasy of loading up my car and flying to austin. fly out and receive the car when it arrives and explore austin for a few days and track it. then load it back up and fly home. i'd be curious as to how easy this worked for you.

Let's make it happen in 2019! My friend and I are going to hit up COTA At some point and want to arrange transport. Maybe we can get a group together for some discount?
