carenthuziast wroteMine are not run flats. Nice when you need them but very expensive. I never run them down that low but of course you can always catch a nail and get stuck on the side of the road. I have AAA so I wouldn't be stuck too long. I'm sure there are plenty of run flats and non run flat tires out there for 19's. Check the tire and wheel section.BOOF-M3 wroteso your tires are not run flats?I have 359 ZCP rims. I am E92 with competition package. The fronts were already pretty new. Former owner did not change out the rears. So I wanted to make sure all the tires matched. I'll consider super sports when the time comes to replace all four. I did try them out today and they hook up nicely under 3/4 throttle.

UPSROD wroteHoly crap, then what are we supposed to do with a flat other than AAA or bmw roadside service?NO M cars come with run flat tires!

Run flats run like trash, are heavier, and cost too much.
Located the xpipe that I was looking for
Got it tuned by Alex@Alpine!
b4hand wroteNice. What did you have done? I had mine done the other night.Got it tuned by Alex@Alpine!
Cat delete, steering servo, GTS and Euro MDM. Can't say enough good things about the guy and his service.
As a bonus I got a few more maps. Looking forward to trying the track map.
Today I put on my Meisterschaft GT2 Titanium exhaust! Can't wait to take it on its maiden voyage!!!

I replaced the weakened OEM battery with a Duralast Platinum H8-AGM the other night. An awkward job made more awkward by the fact that I didn't notice the hidden bracket at the bottom that locked it down. I was pulling and yanking on the battery like a crazy guy in my trunk at 2 in the morning until I gave it a better inspection

It's plug and play?
carenthuziast wroteYou need to "register" the new battery. Registering it resets the adaptations on for the charging algorithm. Otherwise, since it was charging at a higher rate before you replaced it (ostensibly, one could assume an older battery that requires replacement would require a higher charging rate). So if you don't reset it you'll charge your new battery at a higher than optimal rate, shortening it's life.Replacing the battery doesn't require a car reprogram?

However (comma) you don't have to register the new battery. I changed mine out preemptively (Vegas kills batteries and I didn't want to be stranded) when I saw a killer black Friday sale on Bosch batteries at Pep Boys. I didn't register the new battery and the car hasn't blown up, German speaking people in too tight brown pants haven't stopped by the house to beat me senseless w/rubber truncheons, etc. It's all been fine.

If you're replacing it with the same rating AND type (flooded cell or AGM), apparently it's not a critical issue. However, if you're changing the rating or type, you need to do it so you don't damage your battery. I have a Carly so I easily registered the new battery myself.
Washed her, filled her up, and changed the oil/filter.
Performed diff fluid replacement using redline.

Moved it out of the garage to wash and wax.
BOOF-M3 wroteNot completely sure of the process but I believe the current finish is sand blasted and then the powder coat is applied. Speaking from very good advice on here and my very recent experience it may be tough to match one wheel to the others. I had one ZCP wheel repaired and refinished and although it was very close in color to the existing, I could tell the difference. My wheels are powder coated with a clear coat on top. The clear coat has bubbled up. Some of the powder coating below the clear coat has chipped also.
How much typically to redo the powder coat per wheel? Is it practical to strip down the coating and bring the 359's back to life? I kinda like the chrome look.
The good news is that prompted me to have all four done and the charge for doing that was $400. Had it done in dark bronze and I think it looks great.
I"ll start another post with the results.
OEM Performance carbon spoiler.

Still awaiting Blackstone results to decide what to do with the car.
If all is well it will be get all maintenance up to date time.
If not.....I dunno, guess I'll have to research shops out here to do the RBs
Either way I really want a Carly so I can tweet some things!

Swapped the light control module (LCM) with the Euro version for that sweet rear fog light action.
