Great attention to detail and communications. The lead manager (Ian) is fantastic. When you talk to him and he sees you're really anal about your car, he'll carefully explain to you his processes of getting the issue fixed.
If you pay out of pocket, he'll work with you to minimize cost. He'll give you his honest opinion whether they can salavage a part or really have to reorder a new one. If you go through insurance, it's hands off, no worries on your end. He also calls you daily with ETA.
Any tint recommendations for Marin?
Anyone know why P-Tech moved to Fremont? Same team or...?
Update: Ok, same team, moved right next store to Alekshop (no joke). Better lease. Slightly easier to get to from SF (right off auto mall parkway and 880).

RAL9 wroteSame team. I believe they just moved to a closer location in San Jose since most of their customers are probably from the Bay. Driving to Dublin was way too far for me.Anyone know why P-Tech moved to Fremont? Same team or...?
Only problem is that they are not near Bart. It was perfect when they did my rod bearings at their old shop. I dropped the car off, walked to the Bart station and took it to go home. Took it again to pick the car up.
Any new recommendations for detailers?
islandguy19 wrote+1, my regular google and yelp searching found me www.kdetail.com but I haven't tried them yet. Convenient location for SF downtown dwellers like meAny new recommendations for detailers?
kpewpew wroteHave you gone to them yet? They were getting good reviews until about a year or so ago. California Detailing has better scores in google and yelp and I may go to them depending on the days they are open. Keatley is open on the weekends which is convenient for me if I'm going to SF for the work.+1, my regular google and yelp searching found me www.kdetail.com but I haven't tried them yet. E90M3velocity wroteFollowing up on my earlier post. Went to Keatley Detail today in downtown SF, and they did a great job. Nice waiting area, friendly staff who answered all my questions very well, and the end result was good. Did the stage 1 detail and signed up for their monthly premium plan. Wax used in stage 1 detail was Klasse All in One, which I believe is a cleaner/sealant combo.Have you gone to them yet? They were getting good reviews until about a year or so ago. Who should I use to re-clearcoat my cf roof and do some minor paint work?
I'm going to try out www.tandtautobody.com if anyone has any feedback?
Any place that can do a mild smoke tint on pre LCI E90 lights?
Any legit shop (not best buy LOL) that can hardwire my Valentine 1 (radar detector)?
I want it to be neat and nice.

E90M3velocity wroteCalifornia Detail is the best detail shop in SF. We deal with them for any problem customers, especially black cars or cars with interior issues. They detail all the used cars for BMW, BENZ, PORSCHE dealers all over the bay area. However if your car is slammed low, you wont be able to get into their shop...Have you gone to them yet? L1FHR wroteAudiomobile in Oakland did a great clean install that has been reliable for me >1 year thus far. Was hardwiring my Escort Max 360 to the rear view mirror power and installing my Blendmount. They set it up nicely for me. Price was really good too, was only $95 labor.Any legit shop (not best buy LOL) that can hardwire my Valentine 1 (radar detector)?

I like that they detail the rim barrels too.
