Apex 10" Front 10.5" Rear

I have just purchased Apex Arc-8's for the M3. 10" Fronts and 10.5" Rears.
I just cant decide on tires or sizes. The car is a weekend/Once a month toy covering 3000miles a year.
Im wanting 265/35r18 front tires and 295/30r18 Rear tires and iv decided Michelin PSS's would be the best tyre for me but don't come in the size i want, well not in the UK anyway.

So do i get an alternative tires like AD08R's or Cup 2's

Or go for a Michelin PSS in a different size.

Personally I would go with 265/285 or 275/295.

Michelin PSS is good.

Since the rear is only 0.5" wider than the front there is no reason to jump 2 tire sizes. Why not go with 275/35/18 front and 285/35/18 rear? They'll fit more evenly and Michelin PSS comes in those sizes.

275/35/18 fits perfect on the 10" wide wheels.

I agree with 275/35 and 285/35.

It all comes down to the compound that you want to run. As you have experienced, all manufacturers offer various sizes.

275 / 285 (popular combo for Hankook RS-3)

275 / 295 (popular combo for Nitto NT0-5, G-Force Rival, & Michelin PSS)

265 / 285 (popular combo for Hankook RS-3)

These are all worthy configurations, and I am obviously only listing popular extreme summer tires.

^This! It will look awesome! Almost square, but not quite.

Im running 275/35 f and 285/35 r and i love it. Im running hankook v12s btw

I would def run a 275 up front with either a 285 or 295 rear with those widths. I'm running 275F/285R R-S3's on 9.5/10.5 18's and they are great.

Would F 275/35 R 295/35 on MPSS not be too big ??

You don't want a rear 295/30/18, that tire is 1" to short. You want a 295/35/18.

So 275/35 and 295/35 would be fine ? Has anyone got pictures of them fitted ?

I can send you a pic of 275/35/18 but rear is 315/30/18 think height will be close to the 295/35/18 though.

If you're going with MPSS, go with 275/35/18 squared. Might as well be able to rotate them.

I ran a 12mm spacer in the back but it wasn't necessary at all.

That size is fine...I have 275/295 sizing but in 19".

I have Apex 18 x 9.5/10.5 and run 265/35/18 and 285/35/18 Michelin PSS. Works great. With 10/10.5 I'd be looking at 275/285 or 275/295. For a toy that is not driven except occasionally in nice weather, I would go more aggressive in tires than Michelin PSS.

nope. eprfect for those wheel widths. Try try try to get MPSS..if you can't then look to other tire options, but that size should be the same.

yup great size for your setup. With PSS being on backorder you can also run BF Goodrich Rivals. I like them much more than the RS3.

Any reason why guys run same offsets on square setup instead of going with different offsets so they don't have to run spacers?

They only come in 1 offset unless you go with 9.5s, ARC8 Sizes:

18x9.5" ET62
18x9.5" ET35
18x9.5" ET22
18x10" ET25
18x10.5" ET27


They have narrow wheels too, but I excluded those.
