IND can do this for you. They can even change the color of the stripe.

For me, alcantara is the move.
If they were as thick as the oem wheel and also stock leather I'd do it also. I'm afraid alcantara won't be making an appearance in my car.

Problem is that it's buying a new alcantara one and strip it and then charge additional for cost of new leather :bulge: Anyway thanks for the suggestion.

I was under the impression that you were a serious guy that other serious guys took seriously.

My mistake indeed.

Spoiler alert. There's a piece of scrap alcantara hidden in your motor vehicle. Go fish!
Bumping this thread. Anyone have any pics of the BMW Performance wheel with the Performance alcantara trim?

No. :(

While this thread is bumped, I wish I had sent my wheel to IND before installing for a different colored stripe. Lesson learned.

I'll be smarter with my next wheel.

You can still send it...300 or so for a used OEM wheel use it in the meantime and sell it when u get your wheel back

Not a bad option. Although I'm having trouble getting mine back to "new" condition so I might just start over. I wish BMW sold their alcantara cleaner in the U.S.

I haven't decided on a color so this is off in the distance.

As an alternative to having IND paint the stripe for $100, you can get some vinyl cut into a strip in whatever color you want and place it over the stripe. Saves money, allows you to change your mind, and you still have the original blue on there if you ever sell it.

Have you done this? If so how'd you go about it?
Pics of mine... :)
Great feeling in hand!!
