bump - any dynos or updates coming on the car? id love to see some video of it on an airstrip.

We got delayed on this build because we have had so many new products being wrapped up the past 6 months. Fun projects always get put on the back burner. All of the parts are in we just need to install them and dial everything in. We plan on running the car this December at the AZ No Fly Zone airfield event. We will have dynos and more details before then.

What % Complete is this build?

Seems like all the big HP builds take a long time...which is somewhat expected given the fact that no one has done it before

Maybe the build was cancelled?

I've lost interest in this build along time ago. You people are drooling like puppies for almost a year about a 1000 hp build? Reminds me of the Gintani TT thread, what a joke. Fyi, co like Underground are pumping out 1000+ hp motors like you go to the store and buy a sandwich. Common guys, move on. no disrespect to ESS as I have a kit and their good people, however, bla bla bla.....

You mean 2000awhp+ builds. The stage 3R is 2kawhp and I have to wonder what the new "X" systems are doing. Currently UR has about 50 Lambo's and 10 R8 builds going on.

<--- needs to save coin to buy TTR8 or TTG. I found a 06 2r for $189k.

"Lowely" stage 3 (non-R) vs Veryron.
Or how about a "X" package doing 233mph in a standing 1/2mi.
I would love to see a 1000rwhp turbo M3, but I just don't see it happening as of right now. With GTR's able to make 1500awhp with 3.8L, I don't see why a 4.0L V8 can't do something similar. I'm betting the biggest issues are not making power it will be getting a DCT or 6sp to hold the power...tuning unless using a full standalone like a MoTec, Pectel, AEM ect will also be a big limiting factor. There is no black magic in making power...only getting the right parts and tuning to make it live. Getting a fat 18x13 MT ET street under rear would be a must to have any hope of using any of the power under 100mph. Flex-fuel e85 system with W/M (while on 93) would be awesome.

Making power is the easy part...getting it to hook is something else.
