295/30 R19 Rears on the ZCP

My stock rear tires (E90 Sedan, ZCP) are 265/35 R19's. Discount Tire tells me that 295/30 R19's are acceptable alternatives, listed in the official fitment guide.

Has anyone tried this and had any problems?

Thoughts?

a 295 rear tire will look absolutely ridiculous, in my opinion, it will stick out way too far past the rim itself and just look silly. I would say 275-285 would the max you should consider getting. Unless that is the look you are going for.

Yes, coming out 20 mm on both the fronts and rears has been done.

30 mm on the back only, and with a lower profile, I'm not so sure.

EDIT.. Just found this pic on the phone. It is not ideal but Michelin says it is ok so I went with it.

I just recently put 285/30/19 on my factory ZCPs, however my rears have been professionally modified/stretched to a 19x11! These pics were taken right after removing my KW sleeves and installing B&G springs so the rear looks high because I just lowered the jack!lol

I've been running F255/R295(AD08 and PSS) for +3 years on my stock ZCP wheels and it rides perfectly fine, that's without saying how much more grip I get from this set-up compared to stock PS2s, I also really like the look of it!

I have 295/30/19 supersports on the back. If the tire pressure is set to high it'll rub on full compression, but just barely. Set it to 36 psi cold and your fine. I love the fitment, but you'd be pushing it if you have spacers or are lowered.

I have 285/30 on my 19" rears (Forgestar F14's), offset of 23 with no issues.

Zero problems up front. Slight rub at highway speeds over long dips. There's a small bump inside the outer wheelwell, where the bumper cover meets the quarter panel. Well, there USED TO BE! Speaking of which, that occasional rub seems to be much less frequent and less noticeable ... hmmm.

Kurt, is your rub inside the front wheel well or the rear?

Thanks. No spacers or lowering. I'm in Houston, though, so 36 PSI cold becomes 41 PSI pretty quickly in the Summer.

Lowered on Eibach and no rubbing although I did trim that plastic bump off the inside of the liner. That was trimmed off with stock tires and a 12.5 spacer
It server no purpose anyway. But as far as rubbing the fender there is none.

What size tires are you running? I'm on H&R Race springs and am hesitant to do the 255-35 front and 295-30 in the rear. I'm most likely going to have to remove the 10mm and 12mm spacers though for sure.

Alex - Are you running 255-35 or 255-30 up front?

Inspired by M Ryder, I went with a 275/295 ZCP setup on my car over a year ago using PSS tires. No rubbing with stock ZCP configuration (no suspension mods, no spacers):

There are a few on here who are against it, but those who have done it seem to be content. I believe Kurt_OH even tracks his car with this setup too.

255/35, same size as the M3 GTS, I have a 5mm spacer in the front and none at the back!
