Can't believe that no one has been able to weigh the OEM 18" and 19". :confused2
Just for you, here are the 19 weights (2008s). I haven't weighed the TPMS sensors, but they should be between 1 and 1.5 oz. (0.1 lb max.), so drop 0.1 lb. off these weights for bare wheel. This is on a $900 digital scale, but I'd feel better with a confirmation on another scale.

Front 19x8.5 w/ TPMS, 23.3 lb.

Rear 19x9.5 w/ TPMS, 25.5 lb.

This enkei wheel doesn't look bad price and weight makes it a good option ! Also tsw interlogaos nice idea maybe just need weights
What is the lightest wheel and size we can run with no headaches ???
A lot of heavy wheels in this thread. I am surprised by a lot of 18 inch wheels that are from great manufactures weighing over 19 pounds.:(

I miss the day of my old SSR Type Cs. They were 12 pounds a wheel. So were my old Work Emotion forged race wheels. They were like 12.4 pounds a piece. They were so light you could pick it up by a spoke and throw it a good 25+ feet. lol
So what's the best option for a lightweight wheel 17 inch for e90 ?

Highly doubt 20's weigh 17lbs
Why do people give the BBS CH-R such a 'heavy' reputation. They are only 1lb heavier in the rear than ZCP but wider...

because the zcp are heavy too.

Because it's all relative. For what you pay, you could get much lighter wheels. They're still nice wheels, I just wouldn't buy them if ultimate weight savings are your goal.

How wide do you need them? There are a whole bunch of options.
Hello gentlemen,

Long time lurker, first post, the reason attached below :happyanim:

Do you mind answering a few questions please?

1. The stock 18" wheels for E92 M3 are as follows:
front 8 1/2 JX18 ET:29
rear 9 1/2 JX18 ET:23

Why do I often see wheels with a different ET such as 35? Does not it hurt the suspension life / handling?

2. Can anyone recommend me a model of 18" light forged wheels closest to OEM size? I failed to find such myself.

Regards,
Nick
