Crashing at the track and claiming you crashed on the road is insurance fraud and quite likely a felony punishable by imprisonment. Your insurance company has reps on this board and will talk to the track organizers at your event this weekend...so tell the truth or you're gonna end up needing some of longwong's oil to lube your rear end for all the punishment you are about to receive.

And no, the insurance company will not factor the prior repairs into the total loss value (unless the repairs were completed poorly and look bad) which then will devalue the car based on condition.

I was able to find another car I liked with less miles. That accident was NOT my fault and neither is this. I'm sure you'll mention brake failure to your insurance and given the amount of money involved here, they may just dig around a little more on this one than on a normal claim.
Bickering on this thread aside, when you talk about how easy it is to do brake maintenance and then this happens, you do look like an asshat. Please stick to wiper-blade replacements and leave anything more complicated to the professionals.
