I haven't done it, but would think floss and a heat gun would help out since to the best of my understanding, it is just glued/taped on.
Floss followed by those blue interior trim tools with plenty of tape on the paint to avoid scratches.

I just use dental floss to take mines out. It was done on a 60 degree day with no heat gun. Once it was off I use goo gone and a lot of elbow grease to take off the extra 3m.
I would not recommend dental floss because it kept getting cut. A fishing line sounds like a better option.
i took mine off with dental floss and a hair dryer to heat up the double sided tape since i didnt have a heat gun..worked perfect with no problems
Tape off the surrounding areas to prevent scratches and go at it with heavy fishing line.
