What to do at 80,000 miles?

I have an 08 e92 DCT with 79,xxx and I plan to do a major 80,000 mile tune up. Besides trading it in for something else, what else from the list below should I do?

So far, I plan to DIY:
√Battery
√Oil change
Diff fluid change
√Tires front and rear
√Brake Pads front and rear (Rotors changed at 60,000 miles)
√Brake Fluid
√Spark plugs
√Air filter
Power steering fluid
Wiper blades

What am I missing?

How is the car holding up at 80k miles? Did you change the clutches in your DCT? As far as things to do, pretty much what you said would be good. Make sure that you flush your radiator and change your thermostat. Look at your hoses and your drive belts too.

Thanks, just checked the belts/hoses and everything looks good. I'll make sure to flush the radiator. How hard is it to change the thermostat? I remember it was impossible in my e90 325xi.

It's holding up pretty well. More rattles than what I would like, but those started appearing at 25,000 miles. Nothing has been done to the DCT.

If you did the spark plugs and diff around 60K, I'd hold off those for a bit.

Oh and a cabin filter along with the DCT oil wouldn't hurt.

At 80,000 miles are you still covered by the extended warranty? The reason I ask is because my factory warranty expires in July 2013 and I am very hesitant to own the car out of warranty with the DCT. I have looked into third party extended warranties but it seems that once you pass the 36,000 mile mark ( 39,000 miles currently) it is extremely expense, $6500/3 yr. I love the car and would like to keep it, I just wish that someone knew how to rebuild the DCT. How has the reliability been so far?

some of these things i wouldnt just do because of the mileage. would be wasting money replacing parts not needed.

battery-if its still working fine leave it
oil-if its been 7500 miles since last
diff-every 30k about
tires-like battery change when needed easy to look at and judge
brake pads-if they are at or below 3mm or so
brake fluid-every year possibly 2
spark plugs-every 30-50k
air filter-if original for sure get one you can clean and reuse
PS fluid-every 30k
wiper blades-when you need them

I don't think that the thermostat is hard at all. You'll have to take the upper plenum off to get to the bolts of the thermostat housing. I think, if I can remember correctly. I have 32k miles right now on mine. I will be doing a radiator flush soon, but will leave the thermostat alone. I will change the thermostat and drive belts when I have about 60k.

Car has been great (*knock on wood). No problems, just weird sounds like rattles.

mine is at 81,059 and still runnig good.

Every fluid on the car, every filter on the car, spark plugs.
Then perform a full inspection and check for worn/loose/torn/leaky/broken anything, replace/fix accordingly. Google bmw inspection check list, what comes up is a good starting point.

Exactly what kaiv said, i did the same and my M3 has lasted me since 2009 with no problems.

Just asked 3 dealerships about a DCT fluid change today. They won't even touch it.
