I don't normally plug vendors or their products in my personal life, too many pursue me and my time at work. But every once in a while one stands out, they and/or their product.

Mike Benvo and the BPM tune are an example.

After dithering around (and wasting some of Mike's time) we met up yesterday. In the midst of a medium-class crisis at work Mike and his bag of software were a solid and reliable thing. Proven is the word I'm thinking of. So far it's been one day but the results are apparent and good. It may very well be possible that no one this side of Munich knows as much as Mike does about the ECU/DME software and its operation. His tunes are truly intellectual accomplishments (backed up by testing) and not hacks.

Coding options is interesting and I might like to give that a whirl myself but tunes, where the real value is I wouldn't even dream of. And there's no need, we have Mike to thank.

No, I have received no renumeration or any other benefit for this other than giving credit where credit is due which alone feels good.

Happy Holidays!
Deep review.
Nice to see Mike's work is appreciated.
GJ Mike.
The second that group buy goes live I'm all over it.
Agree just do it already! Single best performance mod i have ever done.

I took my ///M out today for some fun and its amazing how the power increased down low. It makes the car feel light.

Dear Santa,

Ask and ye shall receive!!

The cables for the group buy have been fully assembled as of last night. It was a busy day..

I will perform the final testing of the cables today to make sure that every one is functioning properly.

I want to apologize in advance for slow replies. Still about 3 months behind on email/website requests, and about a week or two on PM's.
Just bought a new house and have been moving, plus friends in town for the holidays, and leaving to Seattle on Tuesday for about a week on business. Always feel free to call my cell listed in my signature, the phone is basically glued to the side of my head :D

Details of the group buy will be posted tomorrow so you can secure your cars Christmas present :)

There will be 20 slots available for this group buy.

I appreciate everyone's patience!

For now, a teaser pic: :happyanim:

Edit: Every cable passed testing. yay

Nice!
Congrats to the 20 who get in on this first group buy - you will not be disappointed with the BPMSport tune! I'm running the stage 2 tune on both of my M3s...switched from AA's tune on one of them and the improved performance from the BPMSport stage 2 tune was immediately noticed. One thing that's great about the tune is it's useable daily because of the improved throttle smoothness and sensitivity as well as the increased low-mid range torque
BPM gb during this holiday season?!

But I did promise the lady to lay off the mods for a little while... :bellyroll
I'm in the GB just to get the cable for the inevitable BPM upgrades or if I do end up coding some options.

Right now I have...

- 240E
- Euro MDM
- BPM Tune for 93 octane w/stock redline, stock cat warmup (I like it), 4.5k rpm cold start limiter, removed speed limiter, and cat-less CEL inhibitor (although I still have cats and probably will keep them)

I didn't do a single individualization option (code).

Mike - Take a break, you need it. And thanks again.
all you GB guys are going to be so happy with these cables the BPM tune is amazing!
I may be in for some of this action...
If anyone needs me I'll be in the Marketplace section putting some serious miles on my F5 key.
Been running my BPM tune for almost a year now and I'm very happy. Car runs strong and no issues.

Mike, I think you made need more cables for this GB ;).
Link for group buy please. On vaca in Aruba, no time for searching lol. Now back to the drinking/gambling I go!
Mike B - I saw your note that you are coming to Seattle this week after Christmas. Are you doing "tunes" for us Seattle locals??? I'm sure there are a few up here w/M3's that would be interested in an in-person tune from you! :-)

Yes, I will bring my tuning laptop and cable. So those of you in Seattle please let me know, and I will update and tune in person :)

I am writing up the group buy for those that need this done remotely right now.

Thanks everyone!

Mike
GB please!? Been waiting all day for the post. I wish I had a few more days off to meet Mike in person. Would have been a nice drive between Vancouver and Seattle to test out the tune.
 to Benvo! It's safe to say he's the master of S65 Tuning.

I had my 335i coded by Mike earlier this week, and he took me for a little drive in his M3. It's definitely one of the hardest pulling NA M3's i've been in.
