Thieves!!! Fml

So guys i am here venting!!!!!!!! i live in queens and last night 13 cars had their side mirrors stolen within a 3 block radius!!!! but not the whole mirror just the GLASS!!!!!!!!

Officers were taking down reports this morning me and my neighbors that were robbed. My neighborhood never had these issues its a quiet italian and asian area, all of a sudden this happens. They also stated that only BMW's and mercedes were victims of last nights event. Who ever these guys are they made a nice chunk of money, if this is what dealers are charging for them. After looking at my car there is no damage to the mirror itself just missing the glass. Amazing how easy they are to be popped out and taken .

Dealer wants $385 for passenger side mirror and $365 for driver side!!! FMLLLL

i swear if i ever catch these guys i am throwing them a beaten....

You can check the part # and order it online. If nothing else is damaged, they'll pop right in. You'd want to make sure the connectors are okay for the mirror electrical connections. They might have damaged it ripping the glass off.

thanks, yea man i did check the connectors, and they are fine its just the glass that was taken. Will the online prices be cheaper then the dealer?? i want oem mirrors not looking to get after market parts but ill check it out.

What part of Queens you live in? Ive heard theres been lots of happenings around the area lately.

In Maspeth queens. I heard things too it looks like they are pros. They are coming from other boroughs scoping areas then coming back and stealing. so watch your car carfully man. So pissed i have to now buy this mirrors.

Take advantage of this and order the Euro mirrors with the blind spot curve built in... GET IT! I think its a few bucks less...

Crazy, not sure what these guys are thinking. I don't know anyone who'd buy used parts for an M3 anyway. Hope they catch these guys soon.

Just shoot Jon a PM PARTS@STBMW I hate to read things like this I guess on the bright side at least it was just the mirror and not something really really bad like keying your whole car! I take it they have no leads on who did it?

I have some GOOD NEWS!!!!!. Last night undercover NYPD officers were patrolling my area since so many cars were victims to theft. NYPD detective just gave me a call and they arrested someone last night for trying to steal something else. They are doing a full investigation to see if he is linked with thee other nights robberies. Fingers crossed. Glad to see the NYPD actually doing something about this..

OP I live in Flushing Queens ..and last month there has been a rash of cars getting their wheels stolen and cars left on blocks..needless to say I went with full wheel locks all around..but still .it absolutely sucks..

Car theives should die a slow death.

Went to SJU in Queens and I can't tell you how many times my vehicles were messed with, on and off campus. Airbags, fog lights, etc... NY is a tough place to own a nice car.

hahaha hey buddy, i am the guy with the black e90, it happened to me . right on our block. i think you didnt park there that night your car thank god wasnt seen and they didnt takee it.

Hate to hear those stories. Car parts theft is going on all i've NY and Long Island. Some ppl jacked wheels out in Massapequa. Those thieves need some good beating.

yea i know i am hearing there are a bunch of people just stealing car parts from every where. hate to think our cars arent safe from these people. they deserve a real beating
