got mine from Simon@Rennspec as well.. Was spot on perfect.
How about rear bumpers? What do they usually cost? Have some dings on it, not bad enough to run out and get one, but at some point...

How did you get in touch with him? They don't seem to respond to any emails or PMs. Also how much is it running you of you don't mind me asking?

I think the key word is prepainted.

IMHO: It's best to have them painted locally as larger painted items can be damaged in shipping or hard to match with on older finishes (sunlight/UV fade, etc.).

Since they are OEM, fitment won't be an issue.
I called a BMW body shop (part of the dealer) and they told me that the OEM Euro bumper has a slight variation in terms of the assembly and that I would have to probably buy a few parts to make it fit (such as bolts, air ducts? and the heat shield).

Is this a croc, or is it the procedure?

Bumpers are exactly the same, sans reflector cutouts.

No. It really depends on how well you have been keeping your paint. Properly washed, waxed, cared for - and it will be a perfect match. I got pre-painted front and rear bumpers after 2.5 yrs ownership (Mystic Blue) and it was a perfect match.
Absolutely incorrect. Bumpers will always be SLIGHTLY off in color..

Even from factory.

The only color that will not show a color difference, is jet black.
So I guess the verdict is that you can't get pre-painted parts anymore?

I believe IND still pre-paints items. I had them pre-paint my OEM Euro bumper a few months ago.

That was my understanding as well prior to this, I will refer to this thread for an shop in NJ.
I have an OEM Euro front bumper installed on my car. It was a direct bolt-on and did not require any new hardware.
