I know it was talked about in last Saturday's thread but do people still want to meet and go to C&C this Saturday?

Is C&C not on sunday anymore?

I'd be interested if there's some type of drive afterwards.

We usually do a great scenic drive up the 133 to PCH then stop off at Crystal Cove for breakfast

im down to join in for C&C saturday morning, i can get a couple other friends with m3's to roll down too.

Definitely maybe for me....

I can bring my laptop if I don't see you before then.

So from the Valley, I'm guessing we would have to leave by 5:00 a.m. to get there by 6:15 or so.

Saturday January 7th, 5am. Location: Sherman Oaks (Gelson's Lot) rally to Cars and Coffee Irvine

Meet here at 5am, then we can cruise to the OC rally point at 5:30.

We're rallying up to the first Cars and Coffee Irvine of 2012! If you're down please join us up! It's going to be a great rally! We'll be meeting some of the OC guys up to roll in together, so if you're in the OC meet us up at the Shell Gas Station by the Spectrum at 6:20. If you even think you will be late call me or just meet us at the OC rally point. We are on a schedule so please keep us up to date! We should be arriving at the OC rally point at around 6:20am and from there will head to Cars and Coffee about 6:30ish am. Last time was a blast and the weather should be perfect again this time!

For the meeting spot I'll be parking close to Van Nuys Blvd (though at that time I'll be the only car in the lot).

Meet Here: Gelson's in Sherman Oaks (Google Maps)

Meet here at 5am. We will be cruising out at 5:30am sharp! Call me if you're running late!

OC Rally Point: Meeting time 6:20am Shell Gas Station (51 Technology Drive, Irvine, CA)

The plan:
1. Meet up
2. Responsible cruising the OC rally point
3. Cruise into Cars & Coffee
4. Hanging and good times
5. Roll out to photo shoot spot
6. Get some driving done and take some pics!

If anyone wants to just meet us directly there, then please do the more the merrier! Please message me for info if you'd like to meet us up en-route. Spread the word all auto enthusiasts are welcome!

We plan on being in the show I know there's some feelings about that, but my thing is that this show is open to everyone and if you get there early enough you can park there. If anyone wants to though they can park in the secondary or spectator lot.

Gotcha. Yeah the M is a nice car, but not really worthy of taking spaces in this event IMO.

Yeah I can see that. But considering that the C&C folks have a pic of an E46 M3 on their webpage...I'm proud to show my baby off

There was a war with the Ferrari guys and the Vette guys a couple years ago over this same subject.

Ha yeah I do recall. My take on it is that it's a public show open to all car types. Just because your car might be worth X amount of dollars doesn't entitle you to a spot....that's why they have the featured marque space reserved. But if you want a space, you'll have to wake up like the rest of us and get there on time. Besides, isn't the point of this event to get as diverse a group of cars as possible?
