well i still love the colour and there are very few cars out there in red. in the bright sunlight the metallic effect is not there...you see a bright red...only
in dusk or dawn you can see the metallic effect with a tint of orange and/or red-brown

i had a black m3e46 then a white z4mqp now i wanted sth different..

in my opinion, the red is very very good, but still not perfect, silver looks a bit boring, and white you see everywhere...the colour decision is not easy. still i am very happy with my choice!!

Jason, the first 2 (of the 3 total) posts of those links was at the local dealership & I test drove that exact Melbourne red metallic M3. They were really selective as to who can test drive it. Anyway, all I can say is that seeing this color in person on Friday made me feel better b/c this is the color I ordered. Pics don't really do it justice.

MB red + cf roof + dark colored 19" wheels = HAWTNESS!
